Mr. Van Duker was born in Oregon then moved to the Bay Area and it wasn’t til he was 40 when he moved to Citrus Heights. He then purchased a printing business and settled here as he became very involved with the Chamber of Commerce.

Richard Kniesel was born in Yugoslavia and emigrated to America in 1952 when he was 12. In 1965 he purchased a gas station in Citrus Heights which would eventually become Kniesel’s Auto Shop.
Ms. Cook was involved with the Citrus Heights Parade Committee and her husband, Jim has owned, built and restored classic cars.
Elwin Bruce Ellithorpe was born in Fair Oaks but his family moved around a lot during the Depression and in 1937 he and his family moved to Citrus Heights.
