Catherine Van Maren-Anderson reflects on her childhood as she spent a lot of time at her grandparent’s Citrus Heights house and played in the hills, grass and recalls how there was hardly any traffic back then. In the 1970s, some of the first businesses were the Bel Air Market, Mercy San Juan Hospital, and Sunrise Mall. She inherited Alphabet Ranch Childcare Center from her parents.
