Elwin Bruce Ellithorpe was aged 90 when he did this lively interview. He was born in Fair Oaks but his family moved around a lot during the Depression and in 1937 he and his family moved to Citrus Heights. As a teen, he was active in running and broad jumps. His large family was full of love and his four sisters helped raise him. He joined the Navy and forgot his Christian ways. He graduated in 1948 with an Advertising degree from University of California and spent lots of time in sports shows and rodeos.
